Believe In Yourself

Throughout most of our lives, we’ve been conditioned to doubt ourselves. Have you ever wanted to climb a tree as a kid, and were told not to because you “might” fall? That is usually where it all starts. Although there is risk, like anything in life, you will soon start to doubt if you can even make it up the first limb. Believing in yourself is not always easy. There will always be those negative memories where someone may have laughed at your dream. There will always be those that will doubt your capabilities; not because they don’t believe you can, but because they don’t believe in themselves. There will always be the limitations of our minds that we will have to prove wrong daily. You have to believe that whatever you are hoping for is possible. Despite what anyone says, or what your current circumstances look like. When you close your eyes, can you see it? Can you see what your life will look like when you arrive? Can you feel the excitement, and the beating of your heart. Are you proud of yourself? How are you currently living? are your actions in alignment with where you desire to be? If you desire a deeper understanding of God, are you investing time in building that relationship? If you desire to write a novel, are you writing? If you desire to lose weight, have you made the necessary lifestyle changes? We have to reprogram our minds to believe, and not doubt. We must believe its possible, visualize, act as if, and take action. Don’t allow fear to rob you of your dreams. Remember that fear is a liar, and only desires to stop you in your tracks. I believe in you. The Heavenly Father knows you can, because He created you with a plan in mind. You know that you are capable of more. Be encouraged today to simply start over if you’ve already quit. Belief in yourself is the beginning, so just start there.

  1. I like this post, very well written and motivational! I think it’s true that we all have a mixture of doubts and dreams, and I find that regular prayer helps me stay focused on the latter. It’s important to remember that when we suffer a setback, God is still in control and working out a plan for our lives. Thank you, Elena!

  2. I loooooove this post!! I could never put believe in yourself in one sentence for explanation. But you nailed every reason to always believe in yourself even when we don’t understand God’s plan but we go through without questioning only praying for better days and greater strength with bigger faith. But when you believe in yourself, you will slowly learn and grow into your purpose and his plan but it starts with you!!!! I did a Pic for a post and once you believe in you you’ll see why you were chosen and why he believes in you, even when you’re not Qualified! Somebody shout HALLELUJAH RIGHT NOW!! OMG! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ
